👋 Welcome to LeadZap! You connect once with a single button. After that, each lead from your TikTok lead ads (Instant Form or direct message) is sent to your WhatsApp and saved to your private Google Sheet automatically. There is nothing to copy or paste into TikTok.
What you need before starting
Your setup emailSubject: "Welcome to LeadZap: connect your TikTok". It has your personal "Connect with TikTok" button. Check your spam or Promotions folder if you can't find it.
A TikTok for Business loginLog in with the TikTok account that is an Admin of your ad account (usually the account that created it).
A TikTok ad account with lead adsLead Generation campaigns that use an Instant Form, or ads that collect details by direct message. You can connect before your first ad goes live.
WhatsApp on your registered numberLead alerts go to the WhatsApp number you signed up with.
A Google account for your sign-up emailNeeded to open your Leads sheet. Not on Gmail? You can create a free Google account using your existing email address.

Click "Connect with TikTok" in your setup email
Open the setup email and click the Connect with TikTok button. It opens a LeadZap page that explains what happens next. Click the button on that page to go to TikTok.
The link is personal. It works once and expires in 7 days. Please don't forward it. If it has expired, see "My connect link expired" in the Troubleshooting Guide.

Log in to TikTok for Business and click Allow
TikTok's own page opens, so you log in on TikTok, not on LeadZap. Then:
- Log in with the TikTok account that is an Admin of your ad account
- Select your ad account if TikTok asks which one to share
- Click Allow. TikTok may email you a code to confirm it's you. Enter it once.
What LeadZap can and can't do. LeadZap only reads your ad account name and receives the leads from your lead forms. It never creates or edits ads and never spends money. You can remove LeadZap at any time in TikTok for Business, under your user settings (Authorized apps).
Not sure you're an Admin? Ask the person who created the ad account to check under TikTok Business Center → Users, or to make you Admin. If you aren't Admin, TikTok refuses the connection and you'll see an "Almost there" message.

See "TikTok connected!"
TikTok sends you back to LeadZap, and the page shows "TikTok connected!" with your business name. You also get a confirmation email with the ad account name and the time you connected. If that wasn't you, the email tells you how to have it disconnected straight away.

Each LeadZap subscription covers one TikTok ad account. An ad account can only be linked to one LeadZap subscription.

Confirm your WhatsApp number
So alerts are never missed or filtered:
- Save +60 11-4575 7416 in your phone as LeadZap
- Tap the green Confirm my WhatsApp number button in your setup email. It opens WhatsApp with a ready message. Press send.
The LeadZap number sends notifications only and isn't monitored. The one message you send just confirms your number.

Check it works with a test lead
If TikTok lets you, test before you rely on it:
- In TikTok Ads Manager, open your Instant Form and use Preview (or TikTok's test lead option, if shown)
- Fill in the form with your own details and submit
What to expect: within seconds, a New Lead alert arrives on your WhatsApp from LeadZap, with a Contact Lead button. The lead also appears in your Google Sheet. TikTok doesn't always allow test submissions. If you can't send one, your first real lead confirms everything works. If a real lead shows in TikTok's Leads Center but nothing reaches you within 5 minutes, see the Troubleshooting Guide.
New forms, new campaigns and new ads under the same ad account are picked up automatically. You don't need to repeat setup.

Open your Google Sheet
Open the Google Sheet link from your setup email (Google also emails you an invitation to the sheet). Sign in with the Google account for your sign-up email, then bookmark the sheet.
Every lead is added as a new row on the Leads tab, newest at the bottom. Your sheet is view-only: you can view, filter and download your leads, but not edit them.

A lead needs a name and either a phone number or an email to be delivered. If a form doesn't collect one of them, that cell shows "—".
Download a copy regularly. Leads are kept in your sheet for 12 months from the date received while your account is active, and for 90 days after your account closes. LeadZap is a delivery service, not a backup service, so we recommend downloading a copy at least once a month (File → Download). LeadZap never sells or shares your lead data.

Optional: leads from TikTok direct messages
Ads that collect details by direct message are covered. If you want leads from your profile or LIVE chats too, TikTok has a separate setting called auto lead capture. In TikTok: Profile → menu → Business suite → Get leads → Start getting leads → Direct messages. TikTok asks for your privacy policy and company details, then you submit. This is a TikTok feature and may only be offered to eligible Business Accounts. Menu names can change.
